Whether retiring or vacationing, it’s time to find your own wilderness adventure

Cumberland Overlook’s principal amenity is its 651 acres of pristine forest land. There’s lots to explore and plenty of outdoor activities to keep you active and healthy. Picturesque bluffs and valleys, waterfalls, streams and meadows, majestic hardwoods, mountain air, and wildlife — we’ve got it all.

We also recognize that in this modern world, you’ve come to depend on some everyday conveniences. That’s why we’ve made the investment to bring in city water, high-speed internet and underground utilities, paved roads maintained by the county, outdoor gathering areas and pavilions, and ponds. The land surrounding the development is protected by an existing conservation easement which means you can rest assured that your privacy and the integrity of the land around you will never be compromised

Fall Creek Falls State Park is a quick drive from Cumberland Overlook. This 20,000-acre park not only boasts some of the most spectacular hiking in the state, but also offers golfing, boating, fishing, mountain biking, and outdoor dining. Learn more about the park here.
